안녕하세요. 2월 10일에 첫 발매될 NEITHERS(네이더스) 2022년 봄/여름 컬렉션 룩북을 공개합니다. 많은 분들께서 애정해 주시는 네이더스의 로고인 범고래는 저희 정신이자 방향 그리고 희망을 의미합니다. 이것이라 말할 수도 저것이라 말할 수도 없어 그것이 하찮은 무언가가 아니라 그런 하나가 바다 전체를 대표할 수 있다는 점에서 희망을 가졌었고 가지고 있고 어느 순간에서도 가질 것입니다. 고래는 물고기의 형상을 한 유일한 포유류이지만, 고래가 바다 밖을 나왔을 때 포유류는 고래를 어류로 보지 않을까 싶었고 그것이 어쩌면 고래의 고독한 삶일지도 모르겠다는 생각을 합니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 범고래는 바다의 최상위 포식자로 외롭지만 가장 현명하게 살아가고 있고 사람들은 바다의 상징을 고래로 생각하기도 합니다.
네이더스는 어떠한 카테고리, 장르의 브랜드라 단정 지을 수 없지만 네이더스가 추구하는 비정형 속의 아름다움을 옷으로 표현하고자 계속 도전하고자 합니다. 그것이 바로 지금 당장 바로 드러날 수 없더라도 시간이 흘렀을 때 비로소 네이더스가 어떠한 브랜드였는지 말하기보다는 느껴질 수 있도록 지속적으로 진화하고자 합니다. 그 발걸음의 한 발자국인 2022년 봄/여름 컬렉션 그리고 제품 모두 즐겁게 봐주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다.
